We have three donation baskets in the back left of the Sanctuary.  The first two benefit our Youth and Family Programs.  The third benefits Street Pastors.  Your donations of shampoo, toothpaste, soap, and anything you pick up from hotels when traveling benefit foster children who are emancipating out of the system.  Your gifts of food go to the food locker for youth and reunifying families.  Those familiar staples — soups, mac-n-cheese, noodles, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables and similar items — are always appreciated.  If you have a desire to make a larger donation to Youth and Family, we suggest a call to Jane Wetmore or Anne Petersen.  The needs of our street Pastors are cyclical.  In the winter, warm socks are appreciated.  In the Summer it is flip flops.  Talk to Father Richard or Brad Pierce for other ideas.  Our youth carry the baskets to the altar as part of the offering at the 10:15 service to thank God for his many blessings.
