We are back on concrete this morning, working hard to complete as much as we can before we quit early for our annual sojourn to the beach.
While everyone is doing great work, I have to say that Melody has really impressed me. While she sometimes flies under the radar (probably in an invisible jet), I noticed that she is unflagging in her energy commitment. One moment she is shoveling sand for concrete. The next she is lifting the buckets with the sand and gravel. A moment later she is at the wheelbarrow schlepping the concrete to the pour.
Things are going at a very fast pace now because the ocean calls.
Tonight we return the favor for Monday night when the kids from the group homes visit us for a hot dog feast.
