Serving at St. John’s

At St. John’s, we engage with God, with each other, and with the local community. We are a congregation with diverse skills and passions, and we strive to use our talents to be diligent stewards of our campus and faith community.

It takes a village to keep our ministry running smoothly. Whatever your passion, we have a place for everybody to jump in and support our ongoing projects. We need people like you to:

  • volunteer with worship ministries

  • care for the sanctuary with Altar Guild

  • teach our children with the Godly Play team

  • serve meals at Torres Shelter

  • bake/host coffee hour

  • help with the Annual Bazaar

  • assist the local community with the Outreach team

Discover how God can use your time and talents—whether that’s every week, once a month, or every now and then.

Local Missions and Partners

We are a church that believes in collaborative work within our community. We go where there is a need. Beyond the ministries that take place here, we participate in a variety of ways with these organizations.

We are a community that embodies faith in action. In collaboration with the Red Cross, St. David’s Hall has been designated as a “resilient center”. In times of crisis, our facilities may be used as a community resource center. Our church campus is currently the site of a Jesus Center Farm, growing fruit trees and vegetables.
