St. John’s is an inter-generational, diverse, and inclusive community representing all walks of life. We offer a traditional worship Service of Word and Sacrament (preaching based on the three-year Lectionary cycle and weekly Holy Communion) with many of the worship ministries led by lay members. Holy Communion is the Lord’s Table where all are welcome no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Our interactions are not limited to worship. Our commitment overflows into our community as we serve those in need in Christ’s name, and toward each other as we care for members of our parish family both in times of joy and times of great sorrow and need.

As Episcopalians, we believe in God, as we follow Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our worship is liturgical which means it follows a structure focused on the reading of Scripture and preaching, and the celebration of Holy Communion.

We celebrate our unity in Christ while honoring our differences, always seeking to put the work of love before uniformity of opinion. We follow the Great Commandment to love God with all our heart, mind and soul, and to love others as ourselves. We take most seriously our baptismal vows “to respect the dignity of every human being.”

Though we all may be in different phases and traversing varying paths of spiritual growth, we are companions traveling together to know God better. Everyone is welcome to make a spiritual home here at St. John’s.
