Easter is right around the corner and we are busy making plans for our EASTER BRUNCH following the ONE EASTER SERVICE at 10AM on Sunday March 31st.
We need help making breakfast casseroles, muffins, fruit salads as well as setup, servers, and cleanup crews.  Many hands make light work, so please contact  Becky Thompson if you are able to help.  (BeckyT3031@gmail.com or call/leave a message at 530-570-6141)  There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt for the children immediately after the service so please advise us how many children will be participating.
We will be selling tickets after church next Sunday or you can come by the office M-TH from 9am-2pm to purchase your ticket(s).  Tickets are $10 for one or $20 for two or more.  You will be given a ticket to the brunch if you sign up to provide food.

We hope you will come and celebrate our Risen Lord with your church family!

Good Friday Offering
”Please don’t forget about us.”

For 102 years, donations to the Good Friday Offering have directly supported ministries of the Anglican Communion Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East.  Read the presiding bishop's letter posted on the PLC door. Learn about the places impacted by your donations. Watch the Good Friday concert of sacred music, created at Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Norfolk, VA and streaming on episcopalchurch.org on March 29th. And please, give generously.
3 Ways to Give:
    1.  Scan the code on the poster in the PLC,
     2. give online im.ec/goodfridayoffering, or
     3.  send a check to DFMS - Protestant Episcopal Church US, P.O.Box 958983, St. Louis, MO 3195-8983. Make your check payable to: The Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society with "Good Friday Offering" in the memo field.

PLEASE - do not write the check to St. John's.
Follow one of the three instructions above.

From the Outreach Team

The Outreach team has become aware that the Shalom Free Clinic is in need of sleeping bags, blankets and warm clothing. If anyone has these items that may be extras or maybe not used anymore, please bring them to church this Sunday and the following Sunday. We will make sure they get to the Shalom Free Clinic.
The Shalom Free Clinic operates every Sunday, and provides medical and mental health services to those who are unable to access regular care through a primary care physician. They are making a difference in our community and are funded through donations. Their staff are volunteers and have been providing this service for many years.  We are connected to this organization and provide hospitality supplies every few months.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Ann Petersen

Many Thanks for Many Hands
Huge Success for Church Clean-Up Day

Saturday was a huge success, with many hands getting a lot of work completed before our Easter services. The Altar Guild provided coffee and donuts (always a motivator), and individuals brought their vacuum cleaners and extra cleaning supplies, as well as their muscles, to fight the grime. The church looks amazing. Many thanks to those folks who spent their Saturday morning helping to spruce up our beautiful space. You are treasures!

FLOWER DONATIONS- Remember Easter Flowers

Do you have a special Sunday when you want to offer altar flowers in thanksgiving or in memory of a loved one?  The 2024 Flower Donation sign up book is available in the back of the church. Remember to sign up for Easter flowers to help out our Altar Guild plan for purchasing.
