In observation of the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi we will observe an outdoor Service of the Blessing of our Pets on Wednesday evening, October 3, at 6:30 PM.

Join us Wednesday evening at St. John’s Episcopal Church for an outdoor service of prayer, readings, and songs.

This is a fund-raising event to honor our 90+ Senior members; to memorialize their service with a capital improvement project of the interior church lighting.

Topics include planning your will and/or trust, power of attorney, duties of trustees and more.

There is no cost or oblication to attend, but seating is limited so contact St. John’s today

The Fearless Faith revival is a gathering combining inspiring worship, compelling teaching, honest faith-sharing, intensified prayer, and engagement with the mission of God – all for the sake of the spiritual renewal and transformation of people and of society.

Our spring chamber music concert will take place on Saturday, March 16 at 1pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, home of the fabulous Bigelow organ, on Chestnut Street in historic downtown Chico. The program will include baroque and baroque-inspired works for strings, organ, and oboe. 

Benefit piano concert at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, March 10th at 4:00pm will honor the legacy of music that Dr. Robert Bowman left behind. The concert is free and open to the public.

Save the date for St. John’s Pre-Holiday Bazaar, Saturday Nov.11th. Free Entry. Funds will assist in supporting Outreach Ministries and Capital Improvements.

Chico's 4th annual Interfaith Pride Service: a gathering where affirming congregations of various faiths share stories, sermons and music.

The North Valley Chamber Chorale presents its spring concert. The concert will feature choral arrangements of some of the most famous and favorite hymn tunes, along with several less-familiar melodies and a number of opportunities for the audience to sing along.

Please join us for a benefit concert to support the music ministry, and particularly our choral scholars program.

This lively workshop will include discussions on many topics, including: How to organize those important papers, Advance Directives, the new POLST form, end-of-life choices, understanding Hospice, the importance of having a will, and the difference between a Will and a Trust.

This event is a FREE, family-friendly event with carnival games, food, prizes and opportunities to learn about local community agencies and organizations.
